Motivation : The core concept in performance psychology is motivation.

Motivational theories can be divided into two main categories; need theories and process theories.

The most well known need theory can be seen in the work of Abraham Maslow(1943). He speculated that individuals have a set of needs that need to be satisfied in order for them to fully function. These needs are: physiological, safety, social, esteem, and self actualization(living up to ones full potential).

The theory still illuminates the world of business.

In the recent pandemic, most of us felt a big difference in working from home and working from a office environment with colleagues and friends.

How many of us can relate to this model and the effect it had on motivation. Does this model bring to light ?⁉💡
