Recruiter must ensure that candidate is kept informed about the company, departmental roles & responsibilities which he/she is going to play.HR Department can share its company success stories, the growth opportunities to keep him/her updated.
Regular Follow-up call between HR department & candidate is to check his/her availability. To understand whether he/she comfortable with package & other terms, does he or she facing any issues with previous employer or does he/she confused or hint to switch to other options.

It is a whole lot of execution has to happen in the behind. We used to drive the Buddy program prior to the joining. It not only creates the sense of belonging and inclusion in to the system. but also motivates the new hire to align inside our circle. Here we might not involve the exposure of projects or tools rather focus on what the candidate is centered about per se Culture, Liberty to voice out ideas, Flexibility, Availability of diverse tech stacks to play around etc…
