Johari Window – The unknown
Today we will look at the 4th quadrant.
The Unknown Self of the 4th quadrant.
This section contains information, feelings, abilities, experiences and aptitudes etc. that are unknown to the person and unknown to the participants in the group.
ex: certain feelings, talents, information etc.
The activity is played by-
Participants selecting adjectives and placing them in the 4th quadrant.
Similarly the person receiving feedback, places adjectives in this quadrant.
The adj are matched and discussed.
Conclusions are drawn from these.
Hence the term ‘unknown self’ is generated.
Ever get that feeling that there may be a side to us we might not be aware of. It might be a talent, information or may be even certain feelings.
Once we understand ourselves, it would be possible to make changes.
Do you think this is a fun way to find out about one self or is there a better way.
