Job Purpose: To facilitate Committees and Plenary Sessions of the Assembly Duties and Responsibilities • Provide Secretarial Services to Committees of the Assembly • Keep Custody of Journals of the Assembly; • Prepare and Process Order Papers, votes and proceedings, Motions, Petitions and Parliamentary Questions; • Clerk-At-Table • Draft Amendments to Bills • Provide advice to the Speaker and Members on Legislative Procedures • Conduct Procedural Research • Conduct relevant Research and studies for Committees in liaison with the Research Office • Promote a positive corporate culture and image of the EAC. • Perform any other duties as may be assigned by management
