A survey found that an increase in salary would increase the chances that the employee would stay with the company for their next role.

๐Ÿ˜Š The same research found that a higher company rating on Glassdoor resulted in a 4 percent increase in the chance that someone would stay at the company.

๐Ÿ‘ฉ Salary is important, but there is something other than money which is a motivating factor.

๐Ÿ‘ฉโ€๐ŸฆฐThe research done, showed that there was a strong correlation between pay and engagement. When employees understood that their compensation was fair, it increased their engagement.

๐Ÿ‘ฑโ€โ™€๏ธAnd engagement ultimately leads to retention.

When an employee clearly understands that their compensation is commensurate with their skills, position in the company, and broader job market, they are more likely to be engaged in their work.

How many times do we get the feeling that we may not be getting compensated fairly.

Conversations in the lobby, regarding who gets paid more is common.

So ultimately employees say that getting compensated fairly is what matters more, do you agree?

What should be done to ensure that employees are compensated fairly?
