  • Organizational policies: Policies applicable to everyone in the organization.
  • Departmental policies: Policies applicble to people woring in specific depeartment and relevant to that department processes.

Classification of policies-II

  • Mandatory: HR Policies framed to follow the law of the land or the legislation of the country.
  • Important: HR Policies employees frequently refer to.
  • Nice-to-have: HR Policies seen as the right thing to do and regarded as culturally positive.
